It always flashes in my mind the frightening and miserable condition suffered and experienced by thousands of Filipino people when Super Typhoon Yolanda entered PAR and hit the Philippines last November 8,2013 which brought greater havoc to the houses, buildings, infrastructure and properties and had left thousands of people wounded, many lives have lost, shortage of foods and water supply.
These dreaded and unimaginable event had striken most of the people in Tacloban, Leyte, Eastern Samar, Northern and Central part of Panay, Antique, Palawan and many more.
This total devastation makes me feel sad, and makes me cry especially when I see the hopeless face of these people with a twinge of pain and sufferings in their lives.
I can imagine the thought when our country is very rich in natural resources, teemed with abundant species of plants and animals. A land of paradise with many beautiful scenic spots.I can remember when Cebu, the oldest beautiful city and Bohol, which is famous of its beautiful chocolate hills and tarsiers were also devastated when a strong earthquake hit these places. What would happen to our young generation when those beautiful God's creation would destroy and perish our lives of many people?
This natural disaster that came into our lives is awakening for us Filipinos to protect and conserve our natural resources. Let us take good care of our environment and learn to love God's creation. God's love in our heart gives us a heart for the lost. Let us share and give what we have.
